General Labour
General labours are part of our warehouse and construction team and provide a range of services that usually involve manual or physical work within the building, construction and warehouse industries.
General Tasks
- Assisting qualified tradespeople such as Bricklayers, Plumbers and Landscapers with manual tasks including loading and unloading materials, cleaning tools, operating machinery, preparing job sites and digging trenches
- Understanding how different building materials are used, and complying with safety procedures when using particular building items and equipment
- Following written or verbal instructions from supervisor and ensuring that tasks are completed within the correct time frame
- Many other tasks that can be discussed with your Megacrew Labour Hire Consultant
Experience
- Physically fit, strong and able to carry out manual work
- Attentive to detail and are able to work independently once given instructions
- Well versed with good interpersonal and communication skills
